Pajama Party

Jeb,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Jeb of The Dirty 30's started this fine Pajama Party Open Mic Night at The Camp with a great acoustic & vocal cover of Bob Dylan's "Billy."  He continued with a ownderful original that I can really relate to - "When the Bottle's Gone."  Next, was a cover of Ramblin Jake's "St. James Infirmory"  and an original - "Emily."  He finished with a cover of Springstein's "Atlantic City" and "We Ain't Never Gonna Change."  Jeb sounds  lot like Paul Wasterberg from The Replacements.  He has a really great voice.

DICK:  Jeb sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Jeb looks like an average Joe.  But, he can really put on a show!

Bob,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Bob Camp climbed the stage for a few fine mellow tunes while Krystle was getting ready.  He dedicated one to Brandon "Hangover Blues"  and continued with "Crazy Mind" and "The Voice."  He ended with a haunting melody "Last Train to Memphis."  Bob always seems to get better every time.

DICK:  Bob sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  What's with the glasses?
Bob

Krystle,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Krystle Bergjans returned to The Camp in her pajamas with her amazing acoustic and vocal covers and originals.  Krystle said her Grandma knitter her socks for her.  She started with  Steve Miller's "The Joker" and continue with a hilarious new original "Baxter's  Humpin' an Opossum."  She finished with another original "The Man Song.
Krystle says "Pajama Night Fuckin' Rocks!

DICK:  Krystle sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Krystle looke great in her fuzzy blue slippers, robe and handmade socks.  Wow!  Tom says "Not yet."

Brandon,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  "Busted" Brandon Glenn brought his wonderful undescribable act to The Camp again with his perfect acoustic guitar and fucked up drunk vocals.  Some of the songs and lyrics are "

School Days
About High School
"No do do do"
"That's why it's so fucked up.  Trust me"
"I remember the day you got caught.  You were driving down the road."

Brandon says "If you get pulled over, do what the government tells you to do"

DICK:  Brandon sucks!  So do DWI's.
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Brandon looked just right in his green shirt.  I hope he doesn't need to wear orange.  It wouldn't suit him.
Brandon

Leon,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  "Pajama" Leon (acoustic, vocals) was joined by Brandon (drums) for a great tune "I like My Women on the Trashy Side" and "My, My, Hey, Hey."  They continued with a fine David Alan Cole song "Fuckin in the Butt" dedicated to the Krystle Burgjans Fan Club.  They finished with The Violent Femmes' "Dance, Motherfucker, Dance."  Leon quoted Sam B. "Until you have run naked before the world, you can never truely know freedom."  That's deep.

DICK:  Leon sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Leon looked fine, until he took off his underwear and hung it on his guitar.  No one wanted that!

Chris,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Chris Stephens brought his acoustic and vocal act to Open Mic Night with a little help from Wes on drums.  They performed great a couple of The Slip songs including "Before You Were Born" and "Soft Machine."  They continued with an original dedicated to their high school English teacher and bass player "How English Teacherish of You."  Someone in the crowd said "It's kind of like Huey Lewis meets Sting."  Chris says "Bakka Binky Na Na Row Ron Besh Blrooo Bonkal Ah Shing I'm a microphone"  and quotes Tad Goman "Nashy Boshy Woodles, See ya later...  We had fun.  I ain't shittin ya.  You're my favorite turd.

DICK:  Chris sucks!  What in the name of Allah is he talking about?
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Chris & Wes looked fine.
Chris

Aaron & Shawn,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Aaron (vocals, acoustic, harmonica) and Shawn (drums) ended the night with some of the best original music I've heard at Open Mic Night.  Somgs included "Interstate Breakdown," Real Good Lie," "Some Stars, "Million Miles Away," "Dear George," "Lights Out (In the City of Roses)," and "Ad Lib."  Some one in the crowd said "They're real good.  I like them a lot!" and "He just went straight Prince on us."

DICK:  Death to America!

HAIRY: These guys looked really cool.
