Karl,
Josh Gosh & Duey
Crowd:

TOM:
Karl started this fine Open Mic Night at The Camp with a couple of
friends, Josh Gosh on guitar and Duey on vocals. Karl
& friends played "Down By the River," "How Does it Feel," and
"The Texas Song." Duey's vocals were incredible.
Shelly said "Hello from Tatman du-ville!! If you don't know
where that is, then you haven't been down Broadway lately. It
also is home to Duey, better known as fucker-bird. Duey is
Karl;s 25 year old cockateal. He has as much personality as
Karl does, and a lot more integrity than most people I know.
The thing that makes Duey different form others (besides being a bird)
is he is still a virgin! Now, [personally, I have been trying
to recruit a little birdie nooky for Duey. But, this has been
a very difficult task. You would think that Duey being center
stage between Karl and Josh would have made girls flock to
him. I am saddened to say that poor Duey went home still a
virgin. So, if anyone out there has a girl Duey in the same situation,
please send them to Tatmandu. Duey would very much appreciate
it, and if you just want to visit, or get a really kick-ass tattoo,
come see Karl, or Josh, or one of Tatmandu's other artists.
We might even let Duey tattoo you!! Peace!"
DICK:
Karl, Josh Gosh & Duey suck!
This show is for the birds!
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Karl and friends looked great. Duey added a lot to the show.

Krystle,
Crowd:

TOM:
Krystle Bergjans graced The Camp with her fine vocal and acoustic
originals and covers. Krystle started with amusing originals
"The Man Song" and "Hearts of Krystle." The crowd really
enjoyed and sang along with "The Man Song." She also did Joplin's "Me
and Bobby McGee." Krystle says "I love Emmy Lou and Skippy,
too!
DICK: Krystle
sucks! "The Man
Song" really sucks.
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY: Krystle looked
cool in
her red top
Dirty
30s,
Crowd:

TOM:
Jeb, Riley & Matt of the Dirty 30s performed a set of originals
with Brandon on drums. These folks "are drunks who play The
Camp's Open Mic Night for cheap beer and easy women. Songs
included "Bootheel Baby," "Just Me," and Rode Hard." You just
can't beet a band with 3 screaming guitars and Brandon on
drums. The Dirty 30s will play at the Rude Dog Pub Nov.
11.
DICK: The
Dirty 30s suck! Screaming
guitars suck!
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY:
These guys looked like ordinary folks you'd see on the street. But, you
gotta hear them play!

Prom
Night Filter,
Crowd:

TOM:
Prom Night Filter is Scott Ryan (Prom Night Heroes - vocals, acoustic),
Jason Ryan (Prom Night Heroes - lead guitar) and Josh (Mojo Filter -
drums). They did a rocking set of originals and covers,
starting with Nugent's "Cat Scratch Fever." Next, they did
several fantastic originals, including "Enjoy the Rain," "Yeah," and
Jason's "September."
DICK: Prom
Night Filter sucks!
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY: Scott's grim
reaper,
Jason's plain white and Josh's Tevik t-shirts looked
righteous.

Bob
& Jerry,
Crowd:

TOM:
Bob Camp and Jerry Swan Performed a few tunes to welcome Jerry's 18th
birthday. After "Blowin' In the Wind," they performed some
interesting tunes with strange lyrics like:
"He dances with chicks,
Chicks with tits.
Oh my happy world,
My, my, my, life is good.
Jerry's birthday,
What shall we say,
Love Jerry,
Don't go away."
DICK: Bob
& Jerry suck!
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Do the Beach Boys know Jerry stole that shirt?

Liz
& Josh,
Crowd:

TOM:
Liz (vocals) and Josh (lead guitar) impressed the crowd with some
wonderful covers, including Hank William's "Cold, Cold Heart," John
Prine's "Angel," Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Life By the Drop," and Nirvana's
"Heart Shaped Box." Liz gets better every time she comes to
Open Mic Night. Josh rocks! Liz and Josh rock!
DICK: Liz
& Josh suck!
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY: Liz's Shady Deal
sweat
shirt and Josh's silver guitar added a lot to the act.

Leon,
Josh, Matt & Jason
Crowd:

TOM:
"Neil Young" Leon (vocals, acoustic), Josh (drums), Matt (keyboards,
vocals) and Jason (vocals) wowed the crowd with excellent covers of
Neil Young tunes and other classics. Leon started with one of
my favorites "Hot Pussy," and continued with Neil Young's, "Ohio,"
Marshall Tucker Band's "Fire on the Mountain," "Twilight is Falling,"
"My, My, Hey, Hey," the Violent Femmes "Dance, Motherfucker, Dance,"
and finished with Journey's "Someday." These guys know how to
jam and put on a show!
DICK: Leon,
Josh, Matt & Jason suck!
I missed Baxter.
Oh....
And, death to America!
HAIRY:
These folks looked laid back and comfortable. They sounded
great!

The Crowd: Once
again the crowd was extremely friendly. A good time was had
by all, especially birthday boy Jerry Swan, who received a gift he
won't soon forget!
