Corporate Mustache,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Corporate Mustache is Matt (keyboards, vocals) & Zane (guitar, vocals) of Roadside Memory fame and Shaun on drums.  They started with a fine cover of "Sex Bomb" and continued with a Fallout Boy tune.  They really rocked on Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World."  Corporate Mustache ended with an original "Through the Eyes of a sinner."  Zane said "No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get any ladies to take a mustache ride, which was upsetting since Matt has been trying to grow out that bad boy since birth."  Matt said they are looking for a bass player.

DICK:  Corporate Mustache sucks!  What kind of a name is that?
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: These guys looked cool, especially with Zane's lighted amp.

Jeremy,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Jeremy Bratton  http://yermej.dyndns.org brought his excellent acoustic and vocal talents to The Camp for his unique punk rock covers.  Jeremy started with his version of a couple of Johnny Cash covers of punk rock tunes - Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt."  Jeremy finished his great set with Simon & Garfunkel's "America."  Jeremy seems to get better each time he visits Open Mic Night.

DICK:  Jeremy sucks! There is something wrong with Johnny Cash doing Depeche Mode and NIN.
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Jeremy looked better than ever in his starred yellow tee and burgundy shirt.

Krystle & Tasha,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Krystle Bergjans brought some friends to play some fun tunes at The Camp.  Tasha added her fine acoustic guitar and vocals to Joplin's "Bobby McGee."  Skippy and Mary Lou joined Krystal on a couple of entertaining originals - "The Man Song" and one Krystal wrote yesterday - "The Pickup Song."  These gals are plumb nuts!  But, they have a real good time.  The crowd did too.  Krystle said "I love Bob and Dick sucks! Tom rocks!  So does the Stray Cat Strut."

DICK:  Krystle & Tasha suck!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Overall, these were the best looking performers all night.  Yes!

Leon,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Tonight, Leon and Baxter were Leonardo & Donatello.  Leonardo started his entertaining acoustic and vocal performance with covers of George Strait's "I Ain't Never Seen No One Like You" and the Stray Cat's "Stray Cat Strut."  In response to Krystle's "The Man Song," Leonardo played David Alan Coe's "Hot Wet Tight Bald Pussy," which is a renamed version of a song from the 1920's - "Friendly Little Cat."  Leonardo finished this fine set with Sam the Sham's "Little Red Riding Hood."

DICK:  Leonardo sucks!  But, hot wet tight bald pussies don't.
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Leonardo looked great in his The Ottomen tee shirt.

Jason,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Jason Ryan, lead guitar for Prom Night Heroes, returned to Open Mic Night after a few weeks for some excellent covers, including a 100 year old song and "Across the Universe," written by John Lennon.  Jason finished his fine set with Gavin DeGraw's "Chariot."  Jason says "Tom is the shit!  Open Mic Night is a lot of fun.  I missed it a lot.... good to be back!"  We're glad Jason's back.

DICK:  Jason sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY: Jason looked cool in his green head gear and plain white tee.

Fook Lantion,   Crowd: CampCampCampCamp
TOM:  Fook Lantion & the Little Billies is Wes (bass), Jerome (drums), Justin (drums), Branston (Lead guitar), Andrew (guitar), and special guests Bob Camp (acoustic, vocals) and Brandon (vocals).  After covering Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well," these guys played one of the finest jam sessions I've heard.  Andrew added a lot.  So did two drummers.  Brandon's white rap was most entertaining.

DICK:  Fook Lantion sucks!  There's something Phishy about these folks.
Oh.... And, death to America!

Outside:  The Camp's patio is a good place for musicians to warm up or fine-tune a song in a relaxed atmosphere before hitting the stage.
