Bigger is better!
Krystle
Bergjans Crowd:

TOM:
This is Krystle Bergjans second time at Open Mic Night at The
Camp. Her acoustic and fine rousing vocal covers of classic
tunes
was most excellent! She started with The Five
Man Electrical
Band's "Signs"
and The Steve
Miller Band's
"The
Joker."
She continued with The Beatle's "Blackbird" and Joplin's "Me and Bobby
McGee." Krystle says "This is fun! I still love
Bob.
Dick is a whore!"
DICK:
Krystle Bergjans
sucks! Hey! I'm not a
whore! I'm just misunderstood.
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Krystle looked much more relaxed this time. She
looked better in her bright shirt and skirt.

Jason
Crowd:

TOM:
Jason Ryan of Prom Night
Heroes returned for his most
polished and professional performance
yet. He started with Marcy Playground's "One More Suicide"
and
Puddle of Mudd's "Change
My Mind." Jason
continued with "Pardon Me" by Incubus.
Jason says
"These are all songs that mean something to me."
DICK:
Jason sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Jason looks cool in his trademark green thing on his head,
beads and plain clothes.

Bob
Crowd:

TOM:
Bob Camp took a break to bring his booming bass vocals and fine
acoustic guitar to The Camp on some entertaining covers and
originals. Bob started with "Under
the Milky Way" by The Church. He
continued with a song about a
black limousine and an Amtrak to Memphis. His cover of "Tennessee
Stud" by Jimmy Driftwood was
great! He ended with a medley of
fun tunes with lyrics including "I like cold Beverage Here," "Polk
Salad Annie," and "Put
the
Lime in the Coconut."
DICK:
Bob sucks! Nobody does Elvis any more.
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Bob can really put on a show. The crowd loves Bob!

Leon
Crowd:

TOM:
Barefoot Leon and Baxter returned to The Camp with help from Brandon on
drums. Leon started with Van Morrison's "Wild
Night,"
and continued with "Fire
on the Mountain" by The Marshall
Tucker Band. Next, they
played a new modified cover of The Violent Femmes' "Dance."
Leon ended with Neil Young's "Hey,
Hey,
My, My." Someone in
the crowd said "This is some fine guitar
and drum bangin' shit!" Brandon brought a lot to the show.
DICK:
Leon sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Leon looked great! Brandon and Baxter, too!
Patrick
Crowd:

TOM:
Patrick
Sullivan
entertained the crowd with his acoustic Euro ska rock vocals, some in
French. He did covers of "La
Brune" and "Lea."
Patrick continued with a funny tune about
porn, suction, and Ecstasy. The crowd enjoyed it!
DICK:
Patrick
sucks! French sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Patrick looked pretty cool with his hair, red shirt and
jeans.

A
Pair to Draw To Crowd:

TOM:
Ashley Irwin and Dustin Sitzes of Roadside Memory fame are "A Pair to
Draw To." Ashley's marvelous vocals and acoustic guitar were
accompanied by Dustin's fantastic electric/acoustic
performance.
Their fine originals and covers included "Living Your Life," "Come
Closer," "Fly Away (Disconnected)," "Nothing Inside," Skid Row's "Eighteen
and Life," Journey's "Separate
Ways," with an amazing solo by
Dustin, and "Render Null."
Dustin said "I broke through the acoustic barrier a couple days
ago. It's really close." Sometimes his fingers move
faster
than the eye can see. He'll bring his electric guitar next
week. Excellent!
DICK:
A Pair to Draw To
sucks!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
Ashley and Dustin look great as always. But, Ashley
could lose the shirt. :)

Danetta,
Paul & George Crowd:

Tthe
Danetta (vocals) of Project 621 and Electric Knox, Paul (guitar) and
George (drums) performed bluesy rock covers of the Beatles' "Here Comes
the Sun" and Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee." Danetta
says
"Music is a high you can't buy."
DICK:
Danetta, Paul
& George suck!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
These folks looked like serious blues musicians.
Danetta is hot as ever. Paul looked real laid back.
George
banged those drums with style.
Riley
& the Boys Crowd:

TOM:
Riley & the Boys are The Dirty 30's minus the drummer. Jason
Riley
sang. Matt McGuinn played acoustic guitar. Jeb
Venable
played bass. Brandon filled in on drums. They
performed a
couple of rocking tunes with lyrics like "It's times like these that
bring me down."
DICK:
Riley & the
Boys suck!
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY:
These guys looked like average Joes. But, man they
can play!
A
Jam Session Crowd:

TOM:
Jeb and Brandon stayed on stage for an incredible bass and drum
jam. Dustin joined after a while with his electric/acoustic
guitar. We be jammin' now!
DICK:
This Jam Session
sucks! Where's Danetta and Ashley?
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: This was one casual laid back jam! It didn't
matter
what they looked like.

The
Crowd:

Wow!

Bob's gettin' down!
