Bob  Crowd: DanDanDanDan
TOM: Bob Camp http://thecamp.biz/ started the entertainment this rainy Tuesday with a couple of originals - "The Light" and "Wheels of Boxcars."  He continued fine guitar and vocals with "Paranoid Schizoid Freak" and "Driving Fast on Borrowed Songs."

DICK:  Bob sucks! Where does he find these songs?
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  Once again Bob looks as good as he sounds.

Leon  Crowd: DanDanDanDan
TOM:  Leon entertained the crowd with his wonderful vocal and acoustic covers of classic tunes, including "Friend of the Devil," "Fire on the Mountain," "Brown Eyed Girl," "Manhattan Island Serenade" by Leon Russell, and "I Like My Women a Little on the Trashy Side."

DICK:  Leon sucks! Trashy women suck!
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  Leon looked relaxed and sounded good.

Jeremy  Crowd: DanDanDanDan
TOM:  Jeremy Bratton  http://yermej.dyndns.org returned to Open Mic Night with his unique covers of punk songs.  I don't know how he got the amazing echo effect on Bjork's "Hyperballed."  He continued with the Talking Head's "Naive Melody (This Must Be the Place)," Simon & Garfunkel's "America," the White Stripes' "I can Tell that We are Gonna Be Friends," and Willie Nelson & Cindy Lauper's "Time After Time."

DICK:  Jeremy sucks! We don't need any echoing guitars here.
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  Jeremy looked fine.  But, he said "My pants don't fit as well these days."
Jeremy

Leon & Bob
TOM:  Leon returned to the stage to read poetry with Bob helping on guitar.  Leon's rendition of Shel Silverstein's  "The Perfect High" was entertaining and amusing, and profoundly true.  Check out the  poem here.  Bob's background chords added a special touch.

DICK:  Leon & Bob suck!  Poetry is dead.
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  These guys looked like something you would see in the big city.

Brandon & Doug  Crowd: DanDanDanDan
TOM:  Brandon Glenn returned with his one of a kind acoustic and vocal rap with Doug doing backup vocals.  Brandon comes up with some really odd lyrics, like "Gotta have your cornflakes," "This song is about... Well you know what I'm saying," and lots of comments about Barbies. Nobody really knows what Brandon is saying.  But, it's entertaining as hell! Doug's high pitched vocals added a nice touch.

DICK:  Brandon and Doug suck! What's up with Brandon's preoccupation with Barbies?
Oh.... And, death to America!

HAIRY:  Instead of a couple of hot babes singing backup, Brandon has one bald dude.  It works!
