Andrew,
with Kim
Crowd:

TOM: Andrew played a great guitar, vocal, harmonica set of Tom Petty
covers with some Grateful Dead.
The lovely and talented Kim Bowerman joined him on a couple of
tunes. Their rendition of Working Class
Hero was
great! Andrew also played the Dead's Friend of the Devil and
Petty's Last Dance with Mary Jane. Andrew is getting nothing
but
better each week.
DICK: Andrew sucks! If wanted to hear moldy oldies I'd listen
to
KGMO.
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: Andrew looks like a kid having a great time playing
excellent music. Kim is HOT! There' something about
a woman
in overhauls.

Bob
Camp, with Kim
TOM: Bob wowed the crowd again with covers of excellent, and
sometimes obscure, old tunes. He knows how to put on a
show! Kim added her wonderful vocals to a couple of tunes
including The Band's The
Weight.
You know this one - "Take a Load Off Fanny ..." They also did
Petty's "Whoo."
HAIRY: You think a guy who runs one of the best spots in town
could afford a shirt with his name on it. : ) Oh,
women in
overalls! Yes!

A
Pair to Draw To Crowd:

TOM: Dustin Sitzes & Ashley Irwin performed fantastic
versions of "Living Your Life," Render Null," "Nothin Inside," and
"Come Closer." Both are in Roadside
Memory. Dustin is lead
guitar of Minds Above.
Since they
didn't have a name for their act as a duet, they asked the ever
resourceful Bob Camp for a name. He came up with A Pair to
Draw
To. Hmmm... I'm not sure if that's a double- or
triple-entendre? Ashley says "Dustin needs to learn how to
play
acoustic." Dustin says "Acoustic guitars don't rock like electric
ones..." In any event, Dustin's guitar was smokin!
DICK: A Pair to Draw To sucks! What kind of a name is that?
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: You should've seen Dustin bangin' on that acoustic
guitar! The pic below of Ashley with Purple haired Travis
might give a clue to one meaning behind A Pair to
Draw
To. : ) What's the deal with the wicker hat?

Tattoo
Crowd:

TOM: Tatto is Karl Ketchum. karlketchum@yahoo.com
Karl is a one of a kind, true product of the 60's who is a tattoo
artist at Tatmandu, writer, painter, and song writer. "I play
old
stuff cause people don't bust me for re-writen the words." He
did
the Stone's "Wild Horses," Dillon's "She Belongs to Me," and even some
John Prine. Bob & Kim joined Karl for a moving
rendition of
"We Ain't Going Nowhere."
DICK: Tattoo sucks! Allah wouldn't like the body art.
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: Tattoo has a very unique look and performing
style.
If the crowd didn't catch his name, they would still know who is meant
by "the dude with the tattoos." That's great!

Nick
Parsons Crowd:

TOM: Nick Parsons plays anything and everything from late
fifties
to present era. Some originals as well. His guitar
and
vocals rendition of Ryan
Adams tunes was great!
I enjoyed Nick's
version of Pink Floyd's
"Wish
You Were Here." I've always liked Pink
Floyd, especially that song. The lovely and talented Kim
Bowerman
joined Nick on "I wish You Would," "Someday Friend," and Do It
Again." They rocked!.
DICK: Nick sucks! Who ever heard of Brian, I mean Ryan Adams, anyway?
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: Nick looked like a serious musician doing what he does
best, music. But, he needs a tattoo, top hat, snood, or
something
to make him look unique.

Brandon
& Andy Crowd:

TOM: Brandon Glenn and Andy Dodson had a good time
entertaining
the crowd. That acoustic guitar jumped to life in Brandon's hands. It
was great! Andy joined after a while with a wild "unplugged jammin' in
B minor." Andy's angry. But well dressed.
Some of the
most memorable lyrics were "She ain't got no teeth. But,
she's
sexy to me." They even played "That One Song" upon request.
DICK: Brandon & Andy suck! This isn't Harlem. We
don't want
no white boy rapping around here.
Oh.... And, death to America!
HAIRY: Brandon looks just like an average Joe, who can sing
and
play the guitar like a pro. He needs something to make him
look a
little different. Andy looked fine in pants way too long for
shorts, but way too short for pants. He rapped!
