RAND
STREET
| I've had
8,000 SQFT of land here for years. I bought the adjacent 3.57
acre lot in June, 2004. It was originally a bulk petroleum
facility. That closed and the tanks were removed in the '70s. The
land was mostly unused since. It became an overgrown jungle
that accumulated trash and hundreds of junk tires. Hooligans
sometimes cooked meth here. About three acres are enclosed in a 6 foot chain link fence topped with barbed wire. I've repaired the fence, cleared most of the jungle, and hauled off tons of trash. I'm leaving one acre as a private wildlife refuge. An office building and garage are still standing. I plan to renovate them, if they aren't too far gone. |

My first lot has a
nice creek running through it.
The new acreage was rough. I spent many
hours clearing brush, removing over 250 junk tires, and hauling off
tons of trash.

poison ivy

My Dad and I have
cleared most of the jungle. I added a short fence for
safety. I
can now mow most of the property. The outer fence will soon be
free of
poison ivy and other vines.
